Learn how to use Facebook, Twitter, Periscope, Instagram and Snapchat to be the best sports journalist, using the social media tools to find news tips and market your work to a sports audience. This session will include hands-on lessons and tips showing how sports journalists can use Facebook live, Instagram stories and Snapcat for research and to promote your work. Participants must bring a smartphone or tablet capable of shooting video with data or wifi connectivity to take full advantage of the session. This session was developed by the NAHJ Sports Task Force.
