Yvonne M. Lorie is a thought-leading, public relations and marketing communications executive with more than two decades of experience.  She helps brands and services bring their message to the forefront by fusing fresh thinking with industry expertise to build messaging that captivates and motivates target audiences. 


Yvonne M. Lorie was recently the President of SWAY Public Relations.  There, she managed all aspects of marketing communications for the private and public sectors including: strategic planning, corporate communications, media relations, community relations, social media management, sales promotions, product launches, event marketing and special events.  Among industry colleagues, and past and present clients, she is considered highly respected as a veteran public relations thought leader and passionate professional.  Under her leadership, SWAY PR was recognized as PR Agency Elite 2014 Winner by PR News for its multicultural work.  In 2013, Yvonne was recognized with the prestigious Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) PRemio PR Achievement Award.  In 2014, she was named to the HPRA National Board and currently serves as president.  In 2015, she was named to the National America Alliance exclusive 100 member Latina Caucas, which helps enhance the pipeline and accelerate the placement of Latina leadership talent.


For more than 20 years, Yvonne has been immersed within the public relations world.  An experienced orchestrator in the art of brand and issues management, online and offline promotions, product publicity and community activation in both the Hispanic and general market, this Miami leader has seen it all.  Whether the challenge is in the field of retail, luxury, food & beverage, entertainment, technology, automotive, finance, tourism, government or utilities, Lorie has the know-how to accomplish client goals.  With a track record of success that includes clientele such as:  Visit Orlando, Hyundai Motor America, Tiffany & Co., Chivas Regal, Olives from Spain, General Mills, Nestle, HBO Latino, Claritin, Outback Steakhouse, MilkPEP’s got milk?, UHealth, and more, Yvonne has allowed her clients to expand their reach, market share and public image to all-new heights. 


More than just a PR master, Yvonne has been an active member of her community since the beginning.  From her time at Florida International University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School Journalism and Mass Communications, Lorie has become a member of the Latin Business Club in Miami, a past Board Member of the Latin Scholarship Fund in Los Angeles as well an active supporter of clientele based organizations such as Hyundai’s Hope on Wheels.  A true woman of many hats, Yvonne Lorie yearns to empower her colleagues, assistants, cohorts and friends to look toward the future with an honest dose of hard work and dedication.  She knows that if you “work smarter, not harder,” anything is possible.
