Angie Sandoval is an experienced Emmy award winning senior Telemundo network news correspondent with expertise in crisis communications, in both English and Spanish-speaking media in the local, national and international level.

Sandoval has extensive experience in broadcasting with specialization in Latin American issues. Some of her career highlights include special reports on Latin America for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams with stories such as Fidel Castro’s transfer of power, the failed Coup d’Etat against Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and immigration issues between U.S. and Mexico.

Sandoval has also done live coverage of major news events in the last two decades, including the U.S. presidential elections, civil unrest in Central America and the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana.
