Holding a degree in music ministries leadership from Bethany University, Micayla De Ette is an LA-based singer-songwriter, worship leader, actress, model, and vocal coach. Classically trained and with a background in theater, gospel, R&B, blues, pop, and opera, Micayla currently serves as the Worship Pastor and Creative Arts Director at Faith Tabernacle Church, where she has written and directed several successful stage plays. Having served as the background and lead singer on several records, including gospel artist Eddie James' 2014 hit, "Fire," Micayla has also composed, produced, and written her own self-titled EP and is in the process of writing a full-length album. In June 2016, Micayla was chosen as one of the featured models from one of the fashion industry's leading plus sized clothing lines, Torrid. The popular campaign, #inmyjeans, featured plus sized models Philomena Kwao, Georgina Burke, Lyanna Lynette, and Orange is the New Black's Adrienne C. Moore. Most recently, Micayla played the lead role of Sidney Rhodes in the upcoming feature film Hold On, a project that is both inspired by her real-life experiences and features live performances of several of her original songs.
