Nydia J. Sahagún’s career as a leading and award winning national marketer spans over 18 years and includes work at top national retail and financial services brands. Nydia currently leads diverse segment strategy at Wells Fargo Corporation, a Fortune 30 Company. As Senior Vice President, Head of Diverse Segments, Nydia oversees the development of Wells Fargo’s enterprise strategies to deliver products, services and experiences that meet the needs of the rapidly growing diverse marketplace. Her leadership role within the company and unique lens into culture are helping shape a more a customer centric approach to marketing. In her previous role as Senior Director, Cultural Marketing at Target Corporation, Nydia led cultural brand strategy and oversaw the development of Target’s enterprise strategies to grow market share and affinity with multicultural guests, drive localization and reputation initiatives and infuse cultural awareness into the brand. Nydia’s role within the company and her management of product and campaign launches in the Hispanic, African-American and LGBT markets helped drive multicultural sales growth. Armed with intimate knowledge ranging from publishing and agency to CPG and retail Nydia knows how to succeed with diverse segments by tapping into cultural insights to drive overall business performance. As a leader in the marketing industry, Nydia has been quoted extensively in outlets such as Minnesota Public Radio, Advertising Age, and Portada to name a few, in addition to providing her expertise at nationally recognized industry conferences. Nydia received her MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and her bachelor’s degree from Columbia College in Marketing Communication.
