Pablo Cozzaglio is an experienced videojournalist, photojournalist and editor who is passionate about visual storytelling. His work in Latin America has taken him to remote jungles, glaciers, volcanoes and also cities to document protests and the aftermath of natural disasters such as Ecuador’s April 2016 earthquake.

He currently works with Univision’s special projects video team and Agence France-Presse’s TV service, covering assignments all over Latin America. Cozzaglio has also worked as a cinematographer and aerial videographer for many documentaries, corporate videos and TV productions.

Cozzaglio has successfully used aerial videos and images for editorial and documentary storytelling, pioneering its use in news and features stories in AFP, Univision and other media outlets.

He’s worked with almost every kind of aerial imaging device, from ultralight planes, RC helicopters and custom made photography drones to the latest quadcopters for editorial work and huge octocopters for documentary and commercial projects.

As a video and photojournalist, Cozzaglio also has been covering breaking news, feature stories and short to medium-length documentaries for TV and web. He’s done assignments for BBC, France’s TF1, France 24 and Univision, among others.

Cozzaglio works mostly with large sensor cameras and prime lenses, but also is knowledgeable in the use of conventional ENGs and large digital cinema cameras (RED, Arri Alexa). He’s also experienced in high altitude hiking, PADI certified rescue diver and emergency first responder, and has done underwater photography and video.
